The 21 pieces included in this book are early explorations into the fascinating oboe repertoire of four centuries. The pieces in parts 1 & 2 are standard repertoire pieces, with the pieces in part 1 being slightly easier than those in part 2. Part 3 contains additional pieces selected from the repertoire for the instrument which are comparable with the standard of difficulty of the pieces in parts 1 & 2.
