Yamaha YCL-650E B♭ Professional Wooden Clarinet

The Yamaha YCL-650E B♭ Clarinet is a professional wooden clarinet designed for advanced players seeking greater tonal depth, projection and control. Made from carefully selected grenadilla wood, it offers a warm, rich and resonant sound with the refined response expected from a professional instrument.

Professional Sound and Response

The YCL-650E incorporates design features influenced by Yamaha’s Custom clarinets. Its barrel and bell design, together with hand-finished undercut tone holes, contribute to excellent intonation, tonal balance and an even response across the registers.

The instrument provides a comfortable resistance that allows the player to explore a wide range of tone colours, dynamics and projection while maintaining control and stability.

Refined Keywork

The YCL-650E features silver-plated keywork, leather pads and an adjustable thumb rest with strap ring. The additional E♭ lever provides greater fingering flexibility for advanced repertoire.
