Buffet Crampon E12F B♭ Wooden Clarinet

The Buffet Crampon E12F B♭ Clarinet is an excellent choice for developing players ready to move to their first wooden clarinet. Made from grenadilla wood, it combines the tonal depth of a wooden instrument with a comfortable and reliable response.

Designed for the Developing Player

The E12F features a bore inspired by Buffet Crampon’s professional clarinets, providing good intonation, an even response and an easy playing feel.

For a player progressing from a synthetic student clarinet, the E12F provides greater opportunity to develop tone, control, projection and musical expression while remaining comfortable and predictable to play.

Grenadilla Wood and Silver-Plated Keywork

The E12F features a grenadilla wood body, silver-plated keywork, leather pads and an adjustable thumb rest with strap ring. Its combination of quality wooden construction and established Buffet Crampon design makes it a popular step into wooden clarinet playing.

Compare Before You Choose

Every wooden clarinet has its own character. At Tempest Music, we recommend play-testing the Buffet E12F alongside other wooden clarinets within your budget and comparing tone, response, resistance, intonation and keywork.

Specifications can help narrow the selection, but the best clarinet is ultimately the one that allows you to produce the sound you are looking for most easily.
